Tips & Advantages
Tips:
1. Safe operation norms
- Pre-operation check: Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged, the brake, steering and lifting functions are normal, and the tyres are not broken.
- Wear protective equipment: wear non-slip shoes when operating, wear a helmet if necessary.
- Observe the environment: pay attention to the levelness of the ground, obstacles and pedestrians, and avoid making sharp turns on slopes or slippery ground.
2. Correct Operation Procedure
- Starting and driving:
- Depress the brake pedal, start the power, slowly push the lever forward/backward.
- Keep driving at a constant speed, avoid accelerating or stopping sharply.
- Cargo handling:
- Insert the forks into the bottom of the pallet, make sure the pallet is centred and avoid tilting.
- Use the lift button to lift the load to the right height (usually 2-5cm above the ground) and then move it smoothly.
- Steering and stopping:
- Slow down when turning to avoid tipping the goods due to inertia.
- After stopping, lower the forks to the ground, pull the handbrake and switch off the power.
3. Load Management
- Overloading is strictly prohibited (in accordance with the rated load of the vehicle).
- The cargo should be stacked evenly to avoid overturning due to the shift of the centre of gravity.
4. Battery Maintenance
- Charge the battery in time after use to avoid over-discharge.
- Regularly clean the battery connectors and check the electrolyte (lead-acid batteries need attention).
- Keep the battery in half-charged state when it is out of use for a long time.
5. Routine Maintenance
- Regularly check the hydraulic oil, tyre wear and chain lubrication.
- Clean body dirt and prevent dust from entering the circuit system.
6. Precautions
- New operators need to receive professional training to familiarise themselves with the vehicle performance.
- Avoid driving on roads with gradient greater than 5%.
- Regularly contact the manufacturer for equipment overhaul to extend the service life.
Advantages
1. High efficiency and labour saving
- Electric drive without human push and pull, greatly reducing physical consumption, suitable for long time, high frequency handling operations.
2. Enhance operational efficiency
- Travelling speed (usually 6-8km/h), lifting flexible, especially suitable for large warehouses or production line material flow.
3. Precise operation
- Equipped with power steering system, it is sensitive to manoeuvre and can steer flexibly in narrow space (e.g. shelf aisle).
4. High safety
- Equipped with emergency power-off, anti-skid brake, overload alarm and other functions to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Electric drive without exhaust emission, suitable for closed environment (such as cold storage, workshop).
5. Environmental protection and energy saving
- Compared with fuel forklift, electric pallet truck has low noise and zero emission, which is in line with green environmental protection requirements.
- Lithium battery version of fast charging, long life, lower overall cost.
6. Strong adaptability
- Can be matched with different pallet types (wooden pallet, plastic pallet, etc.), applicable to a wide range of scenes.
- Some models support the addition of attachments (such as pushers and pullers) to expand functionality
